Our goal is to make planning your trip as simple, effective and exciting as possible. With that in mind we have broken the planning down into 10 simple steps:
Contact Us:
After reviewing the information and itineraries on the website use the Contact Us link to register your interest. One of our tour specialists will contact you within 24 hours via email or phone to begin discussing your objectives and goals. At this point we can also provide approximate pricing for the type of tour you are considering. This is an important piece of information to share with parents at an early stage so that they understand the costs associated with international travel.
Share Information:
All of our tour itineraries are available on the website in PDF format. We suggest you download and copy those that interest you the most, and begin sharing that information with players and parents to gauge initial interest and generate excitement. You should then use the 10 Key Questions to Discuss with your Group to further aid in your planning.
Customize an Itinerary:
After discussing all aspects of your potential trip we can put together an itinerary specifically for your group. We will produce a formal itinerary with terms and conditions that will answer many of the questions that you will no doubt be asked by parents and/or administrators.
Meet formally with your group:
Once you have all the information you need from us we strongly suggest a formal meeting of your group to gauge commitment levels, and to make any appropriate changes to the itinerary. At this point we can also commit to a firm price for the land package based on these final itinerary choices and anticipated number of travelers.
Schedule a Presentation:
We welcome the opportunity to meet your team, parents and/or administrators to introduce them formally to Global Team Travel and take them step by step through the itinerary. We can also address any questions and concerns face to face which is an important step in the group feeling comfortable about traveling with us
Make a Deposit:
Each family will be presented with all the paperwork needed to make a formal commitment to traveling including the payment of a deposit. This enables us to go to work securing hotel space, airline seats (if requested) and other details of the trip.
Purchase Travel Insurance:
This is optional but strongly recommended. To make your preparation as easy as possible Global Team Travel is licensed to sell Group Travel Insurance through our partner; Travel Insured. If you wish to purchase travel insurance simply check the appropriate box as the time of deposit.
Receive your Fundraising Package:
Once deposits are received we send you a Post Deposit Package which includes all the paperwork that will need to be completed from a legal and liability perspective. It will also include all the information about our Unique Fundraiser and the Prize Draw tickets you need to being raising money (players only). Past groups have had players successfully raise 100% of the cost of their trip using this one simple method.
Ongoing Communication:
Once we have your details on file you will be in our system. We can then keep you up to date on an ongoing basis with all tour developments, timelines, and any other relevant information via email and mail We will also send general information such as Frequently Asked Questions for preparing to travel, information about your destination country (currency, electricity, phone codes, weather etc.) and an introduction to some of the cities, landmarks and venues you will be visiting on your tour.
